Description:

Action Analysis to be taken immediately following Technique Intensive A combination of hands-on exercises and scene work, this class explores the approaches of Konstantin Stanislavsky, Michael Chekhov and Yevgeny Vakhtangov (the fathers of modern acting), and their strong connection to the Stella Adler Technique. The actor will strengthen his/her process, and develop additional skills and approaches for building character. Homework is an imperative for this course. Students must bring a scene to work with, which they will perform at the showcase: 1. Action Analysis Concept (Flow Chart of the Evaluation of the facts and the Atmospheres). 2. Acting with a partner with a given character (with no script given). 3. Acting with a partner with an existing script. 4. Showcase of the scenes prepared in the class.
